This film is insane. This is a film that wallows and writhes in ecstatic abandon with the pure joy of being a B-Movie. I'm sure it never pretends to be anything else, and as such should be rated in those terms. Maybe as a 'film' it deserves its IMDb rating of 4.3, but as an exploitation/horror flick it would have to rate a solid 7.5. For those who enjoy the genre, you should find much to love.

The basic premise is this ... get a bunch of babes in form-fitting nurse costumes, point the camera at them a lot while they're walking away, introduce the obligatory Asian hair ghost, and sprinkle liberally with copious amounts of blood and creative death sequences.

Yeah its got a story, but who cares.

Fans of asian horror will no doubt find it somewhat derivative - this is a 2007 film using the whole hair-ghost angle that was already tired and overdone in 2005. Connoisseurs will also recognise a famous scene lifted from Takashi Miike's Gozu, but in the spirit of Tarantino lets call it 'an homage'. In any case, it really doesn't matter - the film is too much fun to get hung up on technicalities. Crack open a beer for fuck sake and enjoy the show.

The movie starts with Somchai making his way to a building top, ostensibly to make an end to things once and for all, only to find another potential suicide victim already there with the same idea. Gogo doesn't want to jump at the same time as him though, so they call it off and decide to get lunch instead.

Realising that any time they have from here forwards is in effect a bonus, they decide to make the most of life as they've simply got 'nothing to lose'.

The two then set off to live life on the edge. We follow the pair as they get involved in the seedy side of the city - gambling, stealing and trying to stay one step ahead of the law.

As the movie was made in Thailand, it is obviously on a lower budget than you'd see in a similar film from Hollywood. However the cinematography is competent and stylish, and the film is entertaining throughout, although there's nothing especially new here.

What sets the film apart is newcomer Arisara Wongchalee (aka Fresh) who absolutely steals the show as 'Gogo'. She is sassy, sexy, twisted and adorable - a total star. And with her range of wigs, costume changes, and facial expressions it is hard to take your eyes off her. According to IMDB though, she has only been in one other movie, 5 years after this one. What a shame!

Rating: 4/10 + 2 bonus points for Arisara = 6/10

It's the year 2000 A.D., the first of the new millennium, and a vicious, hungry ghost is ravaging the small village Sam Kotr, in the Roi Et Province. The victims are all men, and they start dropping like flies. Pretty soon, the whole village is engulfed in an eerie, gloomy silence as people become afraid to leave their homes at night. Finally, an exorcist is brought in to do away with the demon.

But then, a new school year begins and a group of students arrive from Bangkok on a rural development project. The ghost possesses one of the students, without anyone's knowing, so that when they return to Bangkok, they are not alone. Soon the ghost is hungry again, and wants more victims, which results in the poor, hapless student becoming sex-crazed like she's never been before. Men start leaving her place weak and ill, and soon her friends realize what must have happened S will another exorcism be in order?
